He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Habkirk (Maracle); his daughters, Sherry Sibley McMurray, Sharon Hill and Shelly Aresneault; his grandchildren, Cher Anne and Christopher; his siblings, Mary Hewitt, Betty Winter and George Habkirk; and his parents, William Habkirk and Sadie Habkirk (Pettigrew).

He is survived by: his sister Peggy Franklin (Allen) of Aylmer; his child Jobbie Peloquin (Scott) of St. Thomas; his grandchildren, Jason, Jeff, David, Nicole, Heather, Tyler, Lindsay and Emilee; and his great grandchildren, Immogen, Riley and Declan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Donations to the Aylmer Area Community Foundation (https://www.canadahelps.org) or the Alzheimer Society Southwest would be appreciated.
