She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry (Marion Chater) and Carolyn. She is survived by: her caregiver Victoria Campus; her husband Marty Harris; her stepchildren, Melissa Harris and Kristopher Harris; her stepgrandchildren, Joe Colombo, Avery Colombo (Matt Rowell), Kallan and Vayda Harris; her brothers, Michael Chater (Pat) and Paul Chater (Ester); and her siblings' children, Chris Chater (Melissa), Pam Chater, Matthew Chater (Brian McIntosh) and Lindsay Stewart (Adam).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home (31 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9).
