She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

“The passing of Cathy has left a hole in my heart and the collective heart of the Crazy River Tribe. We have always shared Cathyisms in the store when something happened she would have had a special comment about. We were Thelma and Louise on our Kelowna trips. She said I had to be Thelma because I was taller and she was Louise because she was smarter We all continue to share her story with each other . She will never be forgotten, but I do know there is a party in heaven Dawn ,”

“I’m so sorry to hear of Cathy’s passing. I live just outside of Salmon arm, in Tappen and Cathy and Jeff used to drop Lill off with me for daycare. I loved her so much, she was very special to me. The last time I saw her she gave me a bracelet as a symbol that I will always have a “little piece of her heart ❤️ “. We lost touch after she moved to Ontario. I tried to reconnect but was not successful. My sincere heartfelt condolences to her loved ones. I will never forget her. Tania Meikle”
