He is survived by: his wife Margaret Newland (Haslam); his sons, Eric Newland (Rupi) of Brampton and David Newland of Kelowna, B. C; his siblings, Christine Newland (late Walter) of London, Larry and Arlene Newland of St. Thomas; his granddaughter Elizabeth Newland; his sister-in-law Nancy Chambers (late Robert); his nephew Kevin (Pamela Thomson); and his great-nieces, Cassandra and Alexis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
