She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sterritt and Sarah Sterritt. She is survived by: her spouse Charlie DiMaria; her daughters, Carolyn (Kaylen), Suzanne and Jennifer; and her siblings, Bill (Elizabeth), Margaret (John), Hugh (Adrienne) and Robert (Carolyn). She is also survived by extended family members and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home (31 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin would be appreciated, as a thank you to their exceptional care and support of Shirley and her family.
