She was predeceased by: her brother David; and her parents, William Gardner and Joan Gardner (Dimbleby). She is survived by: her husband Anthony "Tony" Chard; her daughter Emily Chard (Kevin Boismier); her grandchild Aubrey Louise Boismier; and her sisters, Debbie Robilliard (Richard) and Diane Liebregts (Pat). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held at the Masonic Centre of Elgin, 42703 Fruit Ridge, St. Thomas on Friday, June5th from 2:00-4:00 p.m., with words of remembrance at 3:30 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
