He was predeceased by : his sister Evelyn McKee; and his parents, Frederick Walne and Evelyn Walne (Want). He is survived by : his wife Betty Want (Cree); his children, Kevin, Kimberley Eitel (Patrick) and Kerry Lynch (Jason Wood); his grandchildren, Shawn (Brodie), Ryan, Kristy (Mitchell), Riley (Ted) and Cole (Serena); his great grandchildren, Axel and Denver; his sister Joyce Irons; and his sister-in-law Mary Holmes (Larry).

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Elgin.
