Gerald Esseltine Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Esseltine of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Esseltine to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lou Esseltine (Abram); his granddaughter Becky; and his parents, John Esseltine and Margaret Esseltine (Robbins). He is survived by: his children, Lisa Waller (Ken), Shawn Esseltine (late Diana), Gerald Esseltine (Dorothy) and Darren Esseltine; his grandchildren, Chad, Brandon, Charlie, Justin (Ashley), Baillie and Jerricca; his great grandchildren, Chad, Hanna, Tyler, Jamie Lee, Siniyah, Taydon and Neeko; and his siblings, Mary Anne Rouse (Don), Dorothy Dicker, Pat Esseltine and June Underhill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Remembrances may be made to the New St. Thomas Animal Shelter.
