It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Russell (Saint-Thomas, Ontario), who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Russell and Mabel Russell; his former wife Elizabeth; his wife Rita Murray; and his siblings, Melvin, Donald, Billy and Vera.
He is survived by : his children, Susan Marchand, Jim Russell (Cathy) and Cathie Parkes (Sheldon). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a private family service will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Wednesday, January 20th.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The St. Thomas Women's Shelter or the charity of one's choice.
