We bid farewell to Geraldine Ruth Canning of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 4, 2026 at the age of 89. Geraldine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Geraldine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Geraldine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertram Moulden and Catherine Moulden (Newman); and her siblings, David Moulden and Dorothy Adams. She is survived by: her husband Norman Canning; and her children, Debbie Cobb (Eric), Doug Canning (Sandra), Steve Canning (Jackie) and Mike Canning. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
