She was predeceased by: her siblings, Barb Pringle, Betty Tales (Eddie), Don Matthews and Marjorie Mathews; and her parents, Kenneth Matthews and Margaret Matthews (Harris).
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Simpson; her daughters, Connie Meredith and Tracie Roberts Schmelzle (late Derek); her stepchildren, Cathy DeVries (Randy) and Jeff Simpson (Lisa); and her sibling Marion Begg (late Charlie). She is also survived by grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
