She was predeceased by: her brother Charles; her brother-in-law Peter; and her parents, Olive Dean and Wesley Dean. She is survived by: her close friend Henry J. "Henk" Valks; her children, Rachel Oostdyk (Kevin) and Jeff Valks (Jenn); her grandchildren, Cameron, Andrew, Elena, Josh and Elsie; her siblings, Beverley, Dorothy and Bruce; and her siblings-in-law, Marty, Gail, Helen, Paul and Albert. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and their families, and her friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sifton Funeral Home (118 Wellington St, St Thomas, ON N5R2R2). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Angels' Church (502 Talbot St, St Thomas, ON N5P1C2).
