It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hildegard Wipfler (Saint-Thomas, Ontario), who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Kolke and Lydia Kolke; her sister Margaret Kolke; and her former husband Emanuel Matzek. She is survived by: her husband Bruno Wipfler; her children, Monica Zacharias (Jacob), Anita Wiebe (Henry), Irene Matzek and Ron Wipfler; her grandson Rick Zacharias (Fran); her great grandchildren, Alice, Hannah, Hunter and Violet; her grandson Steve Zacharias (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Liam, Sam, Andy and Evelyn; her grandchildren, Melissa Zacharias (James Ngara) and Chris Wiebe (Laura); her great grandchildren, Kathleen, Logan, Carson, Matt Wiebe (Maggie), Mark Wiebe, Haley Wipfler (J. J.), Grace Wipfler and Abigail Wipfler (Trent); her siblings, Arthur Kolke (Inis), Helmut Kolke (Rikki), Herman Kolke, Erica Lewis (Dave) and Trudy Coulter (late Norm); her sister-in-law Inge Kolke (late Herbert); Jack, Max, Lucy and Teresa.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home (31 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
