He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Vivian Stuart-Lyon (Vincent); and his parents, James Stuart-Lyon and Doreen Stuart-Lyon (Fitzgiddon-Dillon). He is survived by: his son Steven Stuart-Lyon; and his stepson William. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
