James Vance Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Vance of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 19, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Murray, Donald, Kenneth, Floyd and Shirley Jones; and his parents, Clifford Vance and Margaret Elaine Vance (Denham).
He is survived by: his wife Deb Vance (Lawton); his children, Brittany (Robyn), Heather (Sonny) and Marley (Andrew); his siblings, Norma Phillips (Keith) and Carley Lahaise; his parent-in-law Beverley Lawton (late Don Lawton); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Vance, Linda Newman, Sheila Vance and Don Lawton. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
