With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janet Fisher of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janet left this world on May 4, 2026 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Williamson; and her parents, James Pollock and Ruth Pollock (Cropley). She is survived by: her son James Fisher (Brittney); her stepchild Tait Williamson (Jenn); her grandchildren, Paxton, Maddox Fisher, Isla, Connor and Parker Williamson; and her siblings, Cathy Pollock, Doug Pollock (Karen) and Barb Brown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin.

“I was Jan’s supervisor at STEGH where she volunteered with us since November of 2021. She was so helpful and pleasant to the patients and visitors coming in and made good friends with her volunteer partners. I was always happy to chat with her, we talked books a lot! She also gave me great parenting advice and was so proud of her family, giving updates often and telling stories. She loved her time at the cottage with all of you, it seemed to be her favourite thing to do. She is missed 🩷”
