Jean Goddeeris Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2026, at the age of 73, Jean Goddeeris of Saint-Thomas, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Grant Goddeeris; her sons, Cyril Goddeeris (Erica) and Rick Goddeeris; her grandchildren, Colton and Thomas; her siblings, Willy Luyks (Ann), Joe Luyks (Cathy), Diane Janssens (Raymond), Paul Luyks, Mary Ann Caughell (Brian) and Peter Luyks; her siblings-in-law, Derek Goddeeris (Dianne), Rita Kitchen (late Harvey), Dennis Goddeeris (Joyce) and Shirley Goddeeris (late Wayne); and her parents, James Luyks and Gerdina Luyks (VanPopplen Gysbers). She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A Mass was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angels' Church (502 Talbot St, St Thomas, ON N5P1C2).

Remembrances may be made to Holy Angles' Church or the the Cancer Unit of the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital.
