He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Cassidy and Nora Cassidy (Pavey); and his siblings, Bernard Hugh "Bus", Bill, Kay, Marg, Jane, Tom, Sally, Delphine and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Chris (Vanessa), Peter (Sue), Michael (Julie), Paul (Dawn), Ann Timpano (Vince), Amy and Ryan (Hyun-Sook); and his sister Susan Beaudry (Art). He is also survived by grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
