He is survived by: his children, Sarah Lounsbury (Derek Weaver) of Port Stanley and David Lounsbury (Hayley) of Quadra Island, BC.; his wife Anne Lounsbury (Doupe); his stepsons, Craig Doupe (Karen) and Scott Doupe; his grandchildren, Claire Weaver, Finn, Eva Lounsbury, Arden and McKenna Doupe; his sisters, Catherine Galt (Doug) of Cloyne and Elizabeth Jackson (Jim) of Walker's Point; Bruce Lounsbury (Sue) of Brockville, Ron Bardell (Deborah) of Corunna, Glen Doupe of London, Jack, Midge Andruschat and Faye Edgar. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
A very special thank you to the medical personnel of STEGH-ICU and 4th floor who became not only John's supportive caregivers, but loving substitutes for his family and friends because of the Pandemic.
