He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Betts and Annie Betts; and his former wife Judy. He is survived by: his spouse Ebba; his sons, Mark of New Brunswick and Craig (Laura) of Thunder Bay; his stepchildren, Mike and Tanya Buttinger; and his stepgrandchildren, Brooke, Matthew, Madi and Colton.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Cancer or charity of choice.
