She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Aart Veldhuizen; her stepchildren, Suzan Johnson (Peter), Ron Veldhuizen (Anita), Lorraine Councell (Danny) and Kathy Hayhoe (Ron); her siblings, Jean (Carol), Vern (Sha), Alan (Shirley), Robin (Christy) and Kevin (Jo-Ann); and her parents, Earl Sheppard and Marjorie Sheppard (Robinson). She was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
