She was predeceased by: her parents, Eufemia Salazar and Felipe Salazar; and her siblings, Isabelita Gabato, Clarito Salazar and Maria Theresa Salazar.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Bertram; her daughters, Barbara Stewart (Jim) and Rebecca Jesney (Bryan); her granddaughter Maisie Stewart; her siblings, Flora (Bing) of Castro and Renato Salazar; her sister-in-law Patricia Kohtala; and her niece Leah.
