She was predeceased by: her brother Rodney Newman (Molly); and her parents, Victor Newman and Bernice Newman. She is survived by: her husband Richard H. "Rick" Austin; her children, Michelle Lammiman (Paul), Scott Lammiman (Brandy) and Cathy Alonzo (Charlie); her stepchildren, Nicole Price (Jeff), Rick Austin and Steve Austin; her grandchildren, Kara, Aleisha, Tyler, Renee, Nathan and Lauryn; her great grandchildren, Carlos and Raiden; and her siblings, Sandra Kratky (Gerry), Barry Newman (Sharon) and Bradley Newman. She is also survived by her 12 step-grandchildren, many step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Masonic Centre of Elgin (42703 Fruit Ridge Line, St Thomas, ON N5P3S9).
