With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Lee Elijah in Saint-Thomas, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Howard and Elijah; her child Kanihawana; her parents, William Sickles and Katie; and her siblings, Shirley, Rosemary, Leon and Humphrey.
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Cindy), Kanahlunt and Sohahes (Amy); her grandchildren, Tehatlu (Liona), Shakoy, Kanotawaks (Nate), Teshakowanukhwa, Kastoslote (Hayden), Katsitsyokus, Tekakaliyose, Yey, Layewat and Kawyhuhati; her great grandchildren, Shakotshanunyatha, Amos, Norah, Nia, Lonusiyo, Loliwakat, Loluhw and Lo'nikulow; her siblings, Betsy, Brenda and Roderick; and her close friend Howard.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Elijah Residence (1506 Elijah Rd, Southwold, ON N0L1W0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the River Road Longhouse (1035 River Rd, Southwold, ON N0L 2G0).
