It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorna Marie VanBree of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Lorna has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe VanBree; and her parents, Sanford Lucas and Alice Lucas (Weed). She is survived by: her children, Joni Lumley (Boyd), Linda Goss (Bruce), Lori Holden and John VanBree (Jeanne); and her sister Eleanor Carruthers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne's Church (20 Morrison Dr, St Thomas, ON N5R4S6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VON or St. Anne's Parish.
