He is survived by: his wife Anne Gowans; his daughters, Susan Cole (Geoff) and Jennifer Cunningham; his grandsons, Harrison Cole (Mackaila) and Andrew Cole (Chloe); his great grandchild Oscar Cole; his brother Ian of North Berwick; and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Margaret. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
