He was predeceased by: his sister Ann; and his parents, Martinus Strik and Clara Strik (Vankuppeveld). He is survived by: his wife Carol Strik (Verhoysen); his daughters, Lori Malone (Dan), Shelley Strik and Crystal Forbes (John); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Anna and Matthew; and his siblings, Cor, John, Rina, Trudy, Tony, Mary and Joe.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin.
