He is survived by: his wife Rose Beer (VanGorkum); his son Matthew; his stepchildren, Misty, Brian Campeau, Justin Ostrander and Nikki Ostrander (Kevin); his grandchildren, Harrison, Robin Beer, Emily, Josh Campeau, Katelyn, Ashley, Colton, Isabella Ostrander and Hazel Crosby; and his stepbrother Jim Rooney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association.
