He was predeceased by: his children, Christopher, Joseph and Michelle; his siblings, Trina Wright, Peggy Dreyer (late Steve), Earl (Pat Beer), Joe Beer (Kim Giver) and Nancy (Patrick Doaust); and his parents, Ella Beer (Proctor) and Thomas Beer.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Beer (VanGorkum); his son Matthew; his stepchildren, Misty, Brian Campeau, Justin Ostrander and Nikki Ostrander (Kevin); his grandchildren, Harrison, Robin Beer, Emily, Josh Campeau, Katelyn, Ashley, Colton, Isabella Ostrander and Hazel Crosby; and his stepbrother Jim Rooney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association.
