It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen Freeman Rowsell (Saint-Thomas, Ontario), born in Botwood, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 27, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepmother Mavis Rowsell; his siblings, Boyd Rowsell, Ken Rowsell (Shirley) and Louise Sceviour (Kirby); his parents-in-law, Harold and Ruth Janes; his brother-in-law Angus Collier; and his father Eli Rowsell.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rowsell; his daughter Stephanie Prendergast (Phil); his granddaughters, Ella and Sophia of London; his daughter-in-law Jillian Rowsell (late Sheldon); his grandchildren-in-law, Madison and Nolan of Halifax; his siblings, Vera Rideout (Everett), Beatrice Cole (late Bob), Wavey Noseworthy (late Art), Henry Rowsell (Elva), Wayne Rowsell (Vernita), Bonzie Saunders (Carl), Doreen White (Allister), Ivan Rowsell (Audrey), Lorne Rowsell (Valerie), Jim Rowsell (Triffie), Lorna Perry (John), Calvin Clarke (Betty), Dean Clarke (Heather), Rhonda Clarke, Rodney Rowsell (Connie), Vernita Collier (Brian) and Cora Sheppard (Rodney); and his siblings-in-law, Jean Rowsell (late Don), Nina Church (late Glen Rowsell), Lynn Tulk (Harvey), Leslie Janes (Jean), David Janes (Lucy), Juanita Collier (late Paul Smith) and Christopher Janes (Kimberly). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
