He was predeceased by: his brother James "Jim" Marshall; his siblings-in-law, Don Gagnier, John Purvis and Betty Marshall; and his parents, Frederick Marshall and Agnes Marshall.

He is survived by: his children, Matthew Marshall, Summer Amos and Christina McLaughlin; his grandson Henry; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Marshall (Nancy), Mary Ellen Gagnier and Sharon Purvis; and his close friend Bunny D'Avirro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
