He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jim Withenshaw and Virginia Withenshaw (Freeman); his sister Martha Gavey (Gary "Bro") of Aylmer; his nephew Matt Gavey (Tara) of Aylmer; his great-nieces, Lydia and Sophia; his great-nephew Ben Gavey (Andrea); his grandson Ethan Hawes of St. Thomas; his stepdaughter Carrie Swan (Al Thompson) of London; his stepgrandsons, Brandon Swan (Rachael), Nick Swan, Matt Swan (Olivia) and Rob Cliffe (Maegan); his friends, Lorne, Michelle Deeks (Patti) of St. Thomas, Glenn, Helen Hodgson of St. Thomas, Robert, Ellen Hoddinott of St. Thomas and Gar Reek (Collette) of St. Thomas; Danika, Alexandra, Diane Withenshaw of London, Ontario., Andrew and Rachel Cliffe.
