He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ross and Julia Ross (Dancey); his brother-in-law Harry Cookson; his siblings, Pauline Agar (Harry), James "J. T." Ross (Audrey) and Julia "Judy" Burgess (David); and his cousin Bob Ross.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret "Margie" Cookson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
