He was predeceased by: his son Robert "Bob"; and his parents, Lorne Horton and Helen Horton (Schram). He is survived by: his wife Janet Horton (Tricket); his son Jeff (Lisa) of Port Rowan; his grandsons, Tim, Trevor (Sara), Tyler, Nathan (Cheyenne) and Justin; his great grandchildren, Kasey, Chase, Ryla, Ashlyn, Riley and Colt; and his sister Shirley Cruckshank of Simcoe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
