She is survived by: her children, Manuel (Natalia), Saleontino (Maria), Arlindo (Natalie) and Alcinda (Manuel); her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Anna), Stacey (Tyler), Jonathan (Melissa), Melanie (Terry), Reck, Joseph (Nicole), Felicia (Eric), Don, Monica and Lucas (Elena); her siblings, Belmira De Melo and Liontina Da Cunha (Bernardino); and her sister-in-law Leonor Chaves. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
