It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alpo Kitunen (Sarnia, Ontario), who passed away on March 19, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Anita; and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his sons, Wayne (Joan) and Gary (Linda); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Stephen (Nicole), Kristin, Michelle Jones (Jeff) and Tayler Silva (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Avery Jones and Samuel Kitunen; and his nephew Allan Kitunen (Anne).

Memorial donations may be made to the PRHC Foundation through Highland Park Funeral Centre, in lieu of flowers.

“so very sorry to hear of Al's passing. We just learned of it. I know I tried to make 2 or 3 phone calls without success. Al and Anita were very Kind to myself and my 2 young kids. We lived in an apartment in their Durand St home. (long time ago) Marg Jack Adderley and Don and Darlene Heron RIP Al”
