She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Maxted; her parents, Beatrice Houghton and Ernest Houghton; and her sisters, Mary Wray and Joan Mattinson.
She is survived by: her children, Jill (Richard Zimmer), Susan (Kevin White), Kay (Simon Elbourne), Ann Maxted, Mary (Earl Birdsong) and Paul Maxted (Angelina). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
