He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Dianne (Marciniszyn); his brother-in-law Dave Cote (Brenda); his parents, Roberto Spano and Agata Spano; and his sister Angelina Leone (late Oreste).
He is survived by: his children, Deanna (Jeff Pelkie), Pam and Mike (Corry Salts); his grandchildren, Kira (Collin) and Jarod Pelkie; his siblings, Natalina Zirilli (late Sebastian) and Francis Sanza (Angelo); and his siblings-in-law, Maurice Cote (Linda), Julie Grant (Frank), Steve Cote (Wendy), Annette Sammon (late Jim) and Dawn Helman (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
