He was predeceased by: his parent Mathilda (Rice). He is survived by: his spouse Deborah; his children, Bernard Jr., Derek and Shawn; his parent Ernie Latif; his siblings, Matthew David (Debbie) and Ernest David (Lisa); and his siblings' children, Rachel, Alyssa, Camryn and Alex.
