He is survived by: his wife Sharon MacKinlay; his children, Jonathan (Alanna MacKinlay) and Elizabeth "Beth" MacKinlay; his grandsons, James and Andrew MacKinlay; his brothers, Rob (Wendi) of Naples, FL, Dr. Duncan (Ann) of Sarnia and Tom (Becky) of Sarnia; his brother-in-law Dr. Alan Gandy (Lori) of Summerside, PEI.; his siblings' children, Rob (Stephanie), Meg, Joy (Joey), Andrew (Stephanie), Lauren (Brad), Ken (Carolina), Alison (Nick), Laura (Chad), Duncan (Jen), Ruth, Sara, Grace, Mallory, Jack and Molly (Sam); and his aunt Helen Murray of Orillia.
