He was predeceased by : his wife Marie; his parents, Teklia and Jacob; his stepfather Bill; his siblings, Fred, Mike, Mary, Rosie, Pauline and Margaret; and his parents-in-law, Ida and Richard Atkinson.
He is survived by : his children, Craig (Jo-Ann), Carey (Ruth), Cam (Carolyn), Chris (Mary-Lynn) and Corrie Barber (Mark); his brother Yaris; and his brother-in-law Rick Atkinson (Carol). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID there will be no public service.
