He is survived by: his spouse Kim Szaefer; his children, Barry Szaefer (Jessica Alexander) and Danielle Szaefer (Darryn Boudreau); his stepchildren, Sarah Lennox (Mark Spiers) and Andrew Lennox; his siblings, George Szaefer, Judy Szaefer and Chris Szaefer; and his grandchildren, Makaila Szaefer, Janessa Szaefer, Chelsie Szaefer and Caiden Szaefer.
