He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Scarlett; his parents, Wybe Zylstra and Souwtje Zylstra; and his brother John (Dana). He is survived by: his wife Sue Zylstra; his children, Terry, Lori (Mark) and Rick; his grandchildren, Shelby and Cyrus; and his sibling Auke (Turney).
