He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Megarry Laidlaw and Donald James Laidlaw. He is survived by: his wife Seonaid; his children, Janet (Ben) and Bruce (Chris); his brother Don (Jean); his siblings-in-law, Sandy (late Sylvia) and Denise (late Douglas); and also, Julie, Justin, Rebecca (Ray), Katie, Mark and Angela.
