He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack and Blanche; his brother-in-law Ray Tomlin; and his siblings, John Hodgson and Donna Hodgson.

He is survived by: his sisters, Della Tomlin of Sarnia and Judith (Geoff Sutherland) of Kelowna, BC.. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
