He was loved and cherished by many people including: his fiancée Susan Ward; his fiancée's sons, Benjamin and Jonathan Hyatt; his children, Chuck MacKenzie and Kathy Starr (Brent); his grandchildren, Emilee, Brandon, Britney, Kaitlyn and Nathan Starr; his brother Brian MacKenzie (Anita); his nephew Aaron MacKenzie (Jessica); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Connor, Riley and Sarah MacKenzie (Shawn Leegsma); his friends, Jim Smith and Constable Don Piggott; his parents, Donald MacKenzie and Lillian MacKenzie; and also, Cecilia and Eloise.
