He was predeceased by: his child Ronnie; and his parents, Lena (Alice) and Tony Futia. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Rivait (Tobin); his children, Jim, Jan Rivait, Cathy, Ben Slabysz, Cheryl Rivait, Michelle, Sandy Mackenzie and Michael Rivait; and his siblings, Beverley Jamieson (late Ken) and Cecile Robb (Mike Sumner). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations made to St. Joseph's Hospice, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
