He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Bird (Hoyles); his wife Jocelyn Bird (Matthews); his children, Eric Johnston, Shauna Johnston, Jackie Gagner (Chris), Janice Doforno (Luis) and Heather Bird (Rob Frye); his grandchildren, Gabe, Maddison, Hannah, Mitch, Heaven, Danielle, Kaiden, Grace Lynne and Dylan; his brother Don Bird (MaryJane); his sibling's children, Jennifer Bird Angela Thorne (Bird) and Dan Bird; his sister-in-law Sheila Martin (John); and his mother-in-law Olive Findlay. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
