She was predeceased by: her husband Jurjen "Julius" DeVries; her parents, Sjoerd Heslinga and Liefke Heslinga; and her brother Vern Heslinga. She is survived by: her children, George DeVries (Marsha), Theresa DeVries Ball (Lyle) and Linda Robb (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Terry (Christiane), Katie (Robert), Brian, Troy (Jessica), Annette (Jason), Jeff (Shannon), Jeremy (Ali) and Joel (Brooke); and her siblings, Albert Heslinga, Ellie Patience and Helen Visser (Symon).
