He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Tekla; his sister Jessie Cooper; and his nephews, Danny and Eddie Cooper.
He is survived by: his spouse Catherine; his children, Steve (Kris, Charles) and Cathie-Ann Leonard (John); his grandchildren, Janice, Brandy, Melissa, Krystal and Cassandra; his sister Elsie Franchuck; and his significant other Fifi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
