“Bless his soul. Ted was so good to me when I came to High Park School in 1960. My wise new teacher asked Ted to ease me into the school. (We moved from Alberta in January.) I'll never forget how he involved me with all his friends, playing hockey and such. He got me notes when I had to write the exams after a few weeks at the school. Ted was my hero. In Grade 8 I transferred to a different school and never saw him again. But I'll always remember his kindness. Thanks Ted. Sincerely, Dennis DesRiv”
